DNA of #CRE
The DNA of #CRE is an annual survey meant to take a snapshot of the Commercial Real Estate industry and to uncover what brokers care about, how they spend their time, what tools they favor and what their business focus was for the year.
The overall goal was to blend the campaign’s informative and creative objectives in a meaningful way. In order to do this we needed to create a fluid brand that could adapt cohesively from one phase of the campaign to the next, and also allowed each project to have individual characteristics and personality.

01 branding
Our goal was to polish the system created for our inaugural survey in 2015, where we used bright colors, playful icons and abstract references to DNA. To achieve this we added a logo and guidelines surrounding the typography, iconography and colors.
02 survey
Our goal for this phase was to create a user experience that would evoke excitement and encourage participation and engagement in the survey—and to generate enthusiasm about the survey results.
03 the infographic
Using the momentum from the survey, our goal was to create engaging graphics that successfully communicated the findings of the survey. The challenge was to make sure we accurately portrayed the data, while maintaining brand integrity.

04 the report
Our goal for the last phase of the campaign was to refine the playful elements of the brand to match the sophistication of the report medium. We accomplished this by utilizing a darker color palette, simple typography, and omitting the iconography elements.
