Your kickoff call is going to cover a lot. You’ll need someone on your call who can speak to the vision and design of your brand and some homework due ahead of time.
Here’s what we’ll cover on that first call, and what we’ll need from you before we can meet:
The most successful brokerages on the Buildout platform are the ones quickest to get their Property Inventory Plugin live on their website. What does that take? Having your broker and admin users set up in Buildout and adding properties.
Send us a spreadsheet of your company members including—in separate columns—first names, last names, phone numbers, emails, and whether they are brokers or admins. We can create Buildout user profiles for the company members you include.
Have more than 40 active listings? Send us a list for a property import into Buildout.
Looking forward to displaying your inventory on your website? Sending branded emails through Buildout? In order to pair Buildout with the tools you’re already using, you’ll need to provide us with login credentials for each one or, if applicable, the contact info of the developer you work with for these items.
We’ll need the credentials to edit and create pages on your website.
We’ll host your property websites on ‘buildout.com’ and the names reflect that—to perform a CNAME change and make these look like they’re hosted on your website, we’ll need the credentials for your Domain Name System.
Buildout has integrations with MailChimp, Constant Contact, and iContact. Have your login information ready for whichever of these email providers you use.
Connect your accounts from your favorite listing sites and Buildout will send your listing data to create and update posts on their platforms automatically. See our full list of active syndication partners.
Before we can get beautifully branded marketing materials into the hands of your clients, Buildout needs to have an understanding of what your brand is. Remember to have someone on our kickoff call who can talk about this!
We can’t get started without your logo. Remember, this appears on everything you create in Buildout so you want it to be the best quality possible! The best file types to send us for this are .ai or .png.
Do you have guidelines already created for your brand? Send us those color values and font files.
What do your docs look like right now? Send us your current examples and be ready to talk about what you love about them—and what you’re hoping to improve upon.
Try to come up with a few words that really represents your brand for our conversation.
We want you feeling comfortable and masterful with your new tools as soon as possible, so come prepared for this first call.
If you’re not able to send us the required resources listed above 24 hours before our scheduled call, we’ll have to postpone—it’s important we get our process working together started off on the right foot.
